Recycle your old phone, charger and accessories at our stores or by post and we’ll give £5 to the O2 Energy Saver Fund.
Anyone can recycle their old mobile phone, chargers and accessories with O2. Just bring your redundant mobile to an O2 shop, or post it to us for free using this address: Freepost Fonebak (O2 Energy Saver Fund). You’ll also find special Freepost bags in O2 stores.
Our recycling partner will either recycle your phone in a carbon-neutral manner or re-sell it in a country where recycling facilities already exist.
Before you recycle your old phone please:
1. Delete any personal information from the memory of the phone
2. Remove the SIM card.
Since we introduced our handset recycling scheme in 2002, we have recovered over half a million mobiles for recycling or reuse.
The O2 Energy Saver Fund
We’ve joined forces with the Energy Saving Trust to create the O2 Energy Saver Fund. This will help communities across the UK benefit from a full energy-saving makeover.
For every reusable phone recycled, O2 will give £5 to the O2 Energy Saver Fund.
If you would like to find out how the Energy Saving Trust and O2 can benefit you and your local community visit o2.co.uk.
